AVP, Loan Operations

A leading Chinese bank is looking to hire for an AVP, Loan Operations! We are keen to speak to candidates with 5+ years of experiences in loan rollover and loan settlement, from retail / commercial banking background.

Responsibilities:

• Check and approve loan maintenance transactions such as loan rollover, loan settlement, charge-off transactions, loan terms amendment etc.
• Check and approve HK Mortgage Corporation and Government scheme loan servicing transactions
• Check and review subsidised loan servicing (Civil Servant, Hospital Authority and business partners) transactions
• Check and approve CRA & CCRA data maintenance and opt out request
• Handle telephone inquiries from branches, departments and solicitor firms
• Support team leader to monitor loan maintenance team on daily operations, prepare internal / external reports and cross team training / support and resources allocation during peak period
• Suggest ways to enhance BAU efficiency, lead the process improvement and system enhancement projects
• Handle ad-hoc matters and tasks assigned by Team Leader from time to time
• Participate / Lead in projects on new products development, automation of loan system, and review procedural manuals, guidelines and circulars related to loan administration functions

Requirements:

• Secondary education or above
• Minimum 5 years of banking experience in loan administration
• Sound knowledge in various loan / credit products and relevant daily operations
• Thorough knowledge of banking policy and operation procedures
• Good knowledge in accounting principles
• Proficient in MS Office
• Prudent and attentive to details
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
