• Provide advice to the FICC business units on compliance issues regarding transactions, new products and business initiatives, errors, etc.
• Devise and implement strategic solutions with senior compliance team members and other control side departments to support the Compliance functions
• Assisting with the analysis, interpretation, and implementation of new rules/regulations
• Develop and maintain a co-operative relationship with key internal and external stakeholders including the other control functions (Risk, Legal, Internal Audit) and all relevant regulatory bodies.
• Responsibility for developing, implementing and maintaining the Compliance programme for the business
• Working closely with the broader business global compliance teams to ensure the compliance framework is aligned globally
Requirements -
- Strong understanding of fixed income products and the regulatory requirements affecting such products
- Candidate from trading firms/investment bank/regulator would be highly preferred
- Strong decision making and organisational skills
- A bachelors degree in business/law/accounting/finance
- Pro-active, self-motivated, assertive and well organized
