Responsibilities
- Lead business audits from planning to reporting
- Perform quality control on audit reports and other audit deliverables.
- Validate and report prior audit issues in an effective and timely manner.
- Lead the continuous risk monitoring and assessments
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge for their area of expertise including risks and relevant controls.
- Build strong engagement with senior stakeholders in business/IT operations and be the goto person for sharing insights in their area of expertise.
- Lead and drive innovation initiatives for related areas of expertise to enhance methodology, automation and efficiency. Leverage different analytics tools/dashboards for continuous monitoring, and facilitate the dialogue with stakeholders.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in audit/risk/compliance role within the financial services industry or other relevant expertise.
- A university graduate of relevant disciplines
- Sound knowledge in financial and exchange products, listing, exchange, clearing and settlement rules and regulations.
- Possess at least one relevant professional qualification such as CPA, CIA, CFA, FRM, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CEH, CCSP/CCAK, CSX-P or other security related qualifications.
