The Investor Relations Manager / Director will be responsible for formulating and executing the company’s investor relations strategy, strengthening relationships with existing and potential investors, and enhancing the company’s visibility in the capital markets. The role will work closely with senior management and finance teams to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely communication of the company’s strategy, financial performance, and outlook to the investment community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the overall investor relations strategy to support the company’s capital markets objectives and long‑term growth story.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for institutional investors, analysts, and other capital markets participants, handling enquiries and maintaining regular dialogue.
  • Prepare and update investor communication materials, including results presentations, factsheets, earnings call scripts and Q&A, regulatory announcements, press releases, and investor newsletters.
  • Coordinate investor events and activities, such as results briefings, roadshows, conferences, site visits, and reverse roadshows in Mainland China and Hong Kong.
  • Work closely with senior management and finance to interpret financial results, key operating metrics, and business developments, translating them into clear investment messages.
  • Monitor market trends, sector developments, peers’ performance, and analysts’ reports to provide timely feedback and insights to management.
  • Maintain an updated investor database and interaction log, ensuring proper follow‑up and relationship mapping of key shareholders and potential investors.
  • Support capital‑raising, M&A, and other strategic transactions from an investor communication perspective when required.
  • Ensure all external communications are accurate, consistent, and compliant with relevant listing rules, disclosure requirements, and internal governance standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Communications or related disciplines.
  • 6–10 years of relevant experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, corporate finance or related fields; candidates with stronger experience may be considered for Director level.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, valuation concepts, capital markets, and regulatory disclosure requirements (HKEX and/or other relevant exchanges).
  • Proven track record in handling investor meetings, roadshows, and IR communications for listed or pre‑IPO companies, ideally with China‑related businesses.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin; proficiency in written Chinese is essential.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling capabilities, with the ability to translate complex financial and operational information into clear investment messages.
  • Highly organized, detail‑minded, and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Willing to travel up to 30% to Mainland China.
