Internal Audit Manager (Listed FMCG Company)

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Audit Manager to join their team in Hong Kong. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take the lead in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework. The successful candidate will have a significant impact on the company's risk management strategies, ensuring they align with the group's objectives. This role requires occasional travel to China/Overseas and offers a dynamic work environment where your skills in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua will be highly valued.
What you'll do:
- Develop and implement risk management strategies aligned with the group's objective
- Maintain the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and assess the severity of risks
- Conduct annual 'Risk Assessment' with risk stakeholders
- Identify potential new risks/emerging risks and ensure that the Risk Assessment reflects any changes in the group's activities or infrastructure
- Collaborate with system specialists and risk professionals to maintain GRC system for ongoing communication of risk management activities across the group
- Periodically review and update Risk Management Policy, Guideline and Procedures and implement them as part of risk governance
- Act as key contact point on overall risks with Primary Risk Owners, ensuring they have relevant tools and assistance to identify, evaluate and mitigate the risk
- Monitor, benchmark and recommend best practice in sizable corporations in general and FMCG industry in particular
- Provide technical support for scenario risk modelling exercises in relation to major risks
- Lead comprehensive research into specific risks/new identified risks, providing insights and recommendations for Group Management/Country CEOs
What you bring:
- University graduate with ACCA/ HKICPA or equivalent professional qualifications; CIA is an advantage
- At least 8 years of internal or external audit experience, with at least 3 years in supervisory or managerial role
- Experience in manufacturing and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods is an advantage
- Understanding of internal control concept and risk assessment practice
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Cantonese and Putonghua
- Ability to cope under pressure and work effectively with a variety of stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with enthusiasm for learning new things and developing new insights on established and emerging issues
- Excellent using Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
