FP&A Director | MNC FMCG

A leading global MNC in the FMCG sector is seeking an experienced APAC FP&A Director with a strong background in business consulting and corporate strategy. This role will be instrumental in finance business partnering, driving strategic financial insights and decision-making across the regions.

About the Role

Our client, a leading MNC in the FMCG sector, is looking for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) professional to drive strategic financial insights, budgeting, and forecasting to support key business decisions. This role requires strong analytical expertise, financial modeling skills, and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams to enhance business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Budgeting

• Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Monitor and report on budget performance, identifying risks and opportunities.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including profitability, cost optimization, and scenario modeling.
• Track key business drivers and performance metrics to support decision-making.
• Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards to senior leadership.

Business Partnering

• Work closely with functional and operational leaders, providing financial insights for strategic decision-making.
• Act as a trusted advisor, translating financial data into actionable business recommendations.

Process Improvement & Transformation

• Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, improve data accuracy, and drive efficiency.
• Implement best practices in integrated business planning.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
• Experience: 8+ years in strategy, financial planning, or related roles (consulting and corporate strategy experience preferred).
• Technical Skills: Advanced Excel, financial modeling, and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). SQL or other data querying experience is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts for stakeholders.
