My client, a very renowned and sizeable corp would like to locate a Finance expert who has strong financial management, FP&A and financial controlling experience to join their fast growing team. Mainly looking after CAPEX, financial assurance and financial psoition of their IT related projects.

Job Description

1. Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead IT financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with corporate goals
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting on IT spending, including capital expenditures (CapEx), operational expenditures (OpEx), and project-specific costs
  • Partner with IT leaders to evaluate the financial impact of technology investments, including ROI and cost-benefit analyses
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support IT strategy and long-term planning

2. Financial Control

  • Implement and enforce financial control processes to ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee IT financial control, including adherence to budgets, approval processes, and procedural controls for IT-related financial transactions
  • Monitor and manage IT cost allocation methodologies to ensure fairness, accuracy, and transparency

3. Performance Monitoring & Optimization

  • Track, monitor, and analyse IT financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for cost-effectiveness
  • Develop and track key financial metrics and KPIs for IT performance, providing actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Proactively recommend actions to optimize costs, improve efficiency, and align IT investments with strategic priorities

4. Leadership & Communication

  • Create and deliver executive-level presentations summarizing financial insights, risks, and opportunities
  • Mentor and manage professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Act as a trusted advisor to IT leadership, providing strategic guidance on financial decisions and investments

5. Process Improvement

  • Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and drive continuous enhancement of processes and procedures
  • Bring effective improvements and changes to enhance overall financial management

6. Culture transformation

  • Participate and contribute positively to create a diverse and inclusive culture with trust and respect. Play an active role to support cross-team/division/department efforts and model collaborative behaviours

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, IT or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, with a strong focus on IT financial management and financial controls
  • Qualifications as a chartered accountant or Certified Practicing Accountant is preferred
  • Project Management experience with professional project management certification a plus
  • Proven ability to manage complex financial models, analyse large data sets and drive strategic decisions
  • Expertise in financial controls and governance, including compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards
  • Strong proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to build and develop high-performing individuals
