(Senior) Accountant | Manufacturing MNC | Up to 50k

A multinational manufacturing organisation seeks a (Senior) Accountant in Hong Kong to manage full-set accounting and financial reporting within a supportive, growth-focused team.

Key responsibilities:

As a (Senior) Accountant, you will manage full-set accounting, month-end closes, reporting, budgeting, audits, and process improvements in a collaborative multinational team.

• Manage daily accounting operations, including journal entries, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing
• Prepare accurate management accounts, financial schedules, and reports for business decision-making
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to drive financial performance
• Assist with audits, tax, statutory reporting, and liaise with stakeholders and auditors
• Ensure compliance with policies and accounting standards while contributing to process improvements and ad hoc projects

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring manufacturing accounting expertise, SAP experience, knowledge of international standards, bilingual communication, and a detail-oriented, proactive approach.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience in full-set accounting, month-end closing, and manufacturing industry practices
• Proficient in SAP and strong knowledge of HKFRS/IFRS
• Excellent Excel skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently under tight deadlines
• Bilingual in English and Chinese with a proactive and responsible approach
