(Assistant) Finance Manager | Listed Co | 60k

My client is a well-established Hong Kong-listed company. They are looking for a (Assistant) Finance Manager to oversee daily finance and accounting operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily finance and accounting operations, including full set of accounts, GL, AP, AR and cashflow management.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial and variance analysis, and provide insights to support management decision making.
• Oversee group financial reporting and consolidation, ensuring compliance with HKFRS and listing/regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting, monitor financial performance, and highlight risks and opportunities to senior management.
• Review and enhance internal controls, accounting policies and financial procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors and other professional parties; support annual/interim audit and tax compliance.
• Support finance system enhancement / ERP projects and process automation initiatives.
• Handle ad hoc analysis, projects and tasks as assigned by Financial Controller / Finance Director.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; qualified accountant (HKICPA / ACCA or equivalent).
• 5 years’ relevant experience in accounting/finance, with part gained from Big 4 or sizable / listed company environment.
• Solid knowledge of HKFRS, Hong Kong taxation and regulatory/reporting requirements for listed companies.
• Hands-on experience in financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting and analysis; prior exposure to system/ERP implementation is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems; experience with Oracle / SAP / other ERP is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills; able to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese); fluent Mandarin is a must.
