Regional Assistant Accountant role at a stable MNC. Responsible for APAC region accounting operations, month-end closing, reconciliations, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting operations including AR/AP, GL entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities across multiple APAC business units.
• Prepare journal vouchers, balance sheet schedules, and account analyses.
• Support intercompany transactions, billing, and reconciliation across regional entities.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors to ensure compliance with corporate policies and statutory requirements.
• Assist in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes when required.
• Participate in system improvement and automation projects in coordination with the finance team.

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably gained in MNC or regional corporate settings.
• Good understanding of HKFRS and exposure to multi-currency transactions.
• Proficient in MS Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or similar) is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good command of English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
