Finance Manager (1-Year Contract) at Science Park responsible for financial reporting, month-end closing, management reports, and AR functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end closing, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with HKFRS and internal policies.
• Prepare management reports, variance analysis, and schedules for internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and management.
• Oversee full-cycle accounts receivable, including billing, credit control, collections, and AR aging review to improve cash flow and reduce overdue debts.
• Monitor revenue recognition, ensure completeness and accuracy of invoicing, and resolve billing discrepancies with business units and customers.
• Implement and enhance AR and reporting processes, including system and workflow improvements to drive efficiency and internal control.
• Support cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and ad hoc financial analysis for management decisions.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; qualified or nearly qualified accountant (HKICPA / ACCA or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Solid knowledge of HKFRS and hands-on experience in month-end closing, statutory reporting, and AR operations.
• Proficient in ERP/accounting systems and Excel; exposure to process re-engineering or system enhancement is an advantage.
• Detail-minded, proactive, and able to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills with proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
• Immediate available or short notice highly preferred.
