(Senior) Accountant | HK Listed Co | Up to 40k

Seeking a (Senior) Accountant for an HK-listed company to handle full set accounts, reporting, consolidation, and audits.

About the Company
Our client is a reputable Hong Kong-listed company with diversified business operations across the region. To support its continued growth and strengthen the finance team, they are seeking a high-calibre (Senior) Accountant to join the team.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts for Hong Kong and/or regional entities.
• Prepare monthly management reports, financial analysis, and account reconciliations.
• Assist in group consolidation, financial statement preparation, and statutory audits.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Prepare accounting schedules, journal entries, and intercompany transactions.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure accounting practices comply with HKFRS and listing regulations.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in system enhancements and workflow improvement projects.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Qualified or student member of HKICPA / ACCA / CPA Australia preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience, ideally gained from listed companies or sizeable organizations.
• Strong knowledge of HKFRS and regulatory reporting standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP, or similar).
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Good command of English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
