Assistant Accountant | Sizeable Listed Co | 30k

The role is responsible for assisting in daily accounting operations, reporting, and month-end closing. Min 1 year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting operations, including data entry, vouchers, and journal postings.
• Assist in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing, prepare schedules, and maintain proper documentation.
• Assist in preparing management reports, financial analysis, and audit schedules.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal control procedures.
• Liaise with internal departments and external auditors as needed.
• Participate in ad-hoc assignments and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Miknyears of relevant accounting experience, preferably gained in a sizeable or listed company.
• Familiar with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or MYOB) and proficient in MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, proactive attitude, and willingness to learn.
• Able to work independently with good time management and communication skills.
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
