Senior Accountant | AP Focus | 35k

Senior Accountant responsible for managing full-cycle AP operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, process improvement, and supervising team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the full spectrum of AP operations, including invoice verification, expense claims, payments processing, and vendor account reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate recording and timely settlement of accounts payable transactions in compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Review supplier contracts and payment terms to optimize cash flow and payment efficiency.
• Handle month-end closing activities related to AP, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to resolve payment or invoicing discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing accounting schedules and supporting documents for audit and management review.
• Support system enhancements and process improvement initiatives for better efficiency and internal control.
• Supervise junior team members and provide guidance on daily operations.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of solid accounting experience, with at least 3 years specializing in Accounts Payable.
• Experience in shared service or sizable organization preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
• Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
• Independent, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
