Financial Accounting Manager – Listed Company

Our client is seeking a Financial Accounting Manager to lead their team in maintaining the financial books and performing monthly consolidation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to prepare interim and year-end consolidated financial statements in accordance with HKFRS and HK Listing Rules, as well as liaise with external auditors for reviews and audits. The successful candidate will also have the chance to produce high-quality analysis on an ad hoc basis and assist in other assignments when required.

What you'll do:

As a Financial Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team to maintain the financial books effectively while performing monthly consolidations.

• Prepare interim and year-end consolidated financial statements of the group in accordance with HKFRS and HK Listing Rules
• Prepare month-end, quarter-end, interim and year-end group reporting package and financial analysis to holding company
• Maintain and continuously streamline the accounting work processes, policies and guidelines
• Liaise with external auditor for interim review and annual audit
• Produce high-quality analysis on ad hoc basis and assist in other ad hoc assignments when required
• Assist in the preparation of the monthly report for the management/board
• Assist with the annual budget and forecast

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Financial Accounting Manager position is a qualified accountant with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.

• Bachelor’s degree holder in Accounting or related discipline
• Qualified accountant
• Minimum 10 years’ work experience in the Accounting field with at least 4 years at managerial level
• Managerial level work experience in Big Four audit firms
• Experience in financial consolidation, preferably within the shipping and logistics industry
• Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills
• Good interpersonal, leadership and time management skills
