Assistant AP Manager | Global MNC

This role will be supporting global payments and AP functions.

What you'll do:

As an Assistant Accounts Payable Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting and reviewing AP work-done, as well as AP month end closing. Your role will involve effective communication with stakeholders worldwide, performing reconciliations, analysing payment-related financial numbers, and resolving any invoice compliance issues. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to assist in accounting transformation projects or other ad hoc assignments as required.

  • Ensure payments are processed timely in compliance with Corporate Policy
  • Review the reports and journals prepared by the subordinates
  • Work closely with overseas parties to manage payment processe
  • Provided and analysis monthly report, forecasted departmental cost and budgeting
  • Perform reconciliations and analysis on payment-related financial numbers
  • Resolve invoice compliance issues and ensure proper payment authorization
  • Support accounting system transformation projects as required

What you bring:

  • A Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant discipline
  • At least 5 years' relevant experience in A/P; preferably gained from sizable MNCs
  • Excellent interpersonal and organization skills
  • Proficiency in MS Powerpoint, Word, Excel
  • Strong communication skills in English and Chinese
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and a good team player
