Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and presentations for management and external stakeholders.
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and monitor budgetary performance.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
• Proven 5+ years experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in sizable organizations or public sector organization.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
