(Senior) Manager - Finance Transformation / Finance Project
With a leading HK listed property developer to be in charge of the Group’s finance transformation with a focus on implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Oracle EPM. Drive process improvement, enhance financial data integrity, and partner with Finance, IT, and business units to deliver efficient, scalable finance systems and workflows.
Position Summary
The Finance Transformation / Finance Project Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the Group’s finance digitalisation agenda, with a primary focus on driving end‑to‑end ERP implementation (Oracle Fusion Cloud & EPM). This role partners closely with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to enhance financial processes, strengthen data integrity, and uplift system capabilities across the Group. The ideal candidate brings a strong accounting foundation, hands‑on project management experience, and deep technical knowledge of modern finance systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Finance Transformation & Project Management
- Lead, manage, and execute finance transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with group strategic objectives.
- Oversee end‑to‑end ERP implementation (Oracle Fusion Cloud & EPM), including planning, design, UAT, rollout, training, and post‑go‑live optimisation.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (Finance, IT, Procurement, Operations, External Consultants) to ensure smooth project execution and risk mitigation.
- Define project scope, governance, timelines, deliverables, and documentation.
- Process Re‑engineering & Systems Optimisation
- Review and redesign key finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R, fixed assets, budgeting, consolidation) to improve automation, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Identify system gaps and implement enhancements, new modules, and workflow improvements.
- Drive integration between ERP, EPM, BI tools, and reporting platforms to ensure data consistency and end‑to‑end process flow.
- Finance Operations Support
- Provide subject matter expertise on accounting, controls, and financial reporting requirements throughout the ERP implementation.
- Ensure the new system supports statutory, management, and regulatory reporting needs for a HK‑listed organisation.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to standardise chart of accounts, reporting structures, and master data governance.
- Stakeholder Management & Change Leadership
- Act as key liaison between Finance, IT, business units, and external vendors.
- Lead training, workshops, and change‑management initiatives to drive system adoption.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and recommendations to senior management, including CFO and Finance Controller.
Requirements
- CPA qualified with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in finance transformation, finance systems projects, or ERP implementation within sizeable organisations.
- Hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Oracle EPM is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting standards, and group reporting cycles.
- Prior experience in property, conglomerate, real estate, or HK‑listed environments is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Proactive, analytical, detail‑minded, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced and evolving environment.
