A Hong Kong–listed group is seeking a Senior Financial Controller to join its Group Finance team in Hong Kong.

This role will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, statutory compliance, and company secretarial matters, while partnering with senior finance leadership to enhance finance operations, data quality, and reporting efficiency. The position plays a key role in maintaining strong governance standards and supporting finance transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Controllership

• Lead monthly, interim, and annual financial reporting in accordance with HKFRS / IFRS and HKEX listing requirements
• Oversee statutory accounts, group consolidation support, and audit coordination
• Ensure strong accounting policies, internal controls, and governance frameworks are maintained

Company Secretarial & Compliance

• Handle or oversee company secretarial matters, including board and committee documentation
• Ensure compliance with Listing Rules, Companies Ordinance, and statutory filing requirements
• Liaise with external advisors, auditors, and professional firms

Systems, Reporting & Automation

• Drive enhancements to management reporting, dashboards, and executive reporting packs
• Support development of BI tools, data visualisation, and automated reporting
• Partner on finance systems improvement initiatives and process optimisation

Business Partnering & Projects

• Work closely with senior finance leadership on group initiatives and ad-hoc projects
• Support finance transformation, data standardisation, and reporting improvement efforts
• Act as a stable senior finance presence in a dynamic environment

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified accountant (CPA / CA / ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a HKEX-listed company environment
• Strong hands-on financial reporting and controllership background
• Prior exposure to company secretarial responsibilities is essential
• Tech‑savvy with experience in dashboards, BI, reporting automation, or advanced Excel
• Overseas education or international working experience is a strong advantage
• Strong attention to detail, professional judgement, and discretion
