Our client's foundation dedicated to making a positive impact in our community through charitable initiatives. They are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Project Director to oversee end-to-end project management of the grant management. This role will be pivotal in ensuring that their foundation's mission is realised through effective project execution, governance and control, collaboration with stakeholders, and a commitment to transparency and accountability.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team and oversee the end-to-end project management of charitable initiatives and grant making activities, from inception to evaluation.
  • Collaborate with the foundation’s leadership to identify funding priorities and strategic goals.
  • Manage the entire grant cycle, including application review, due diligence, fund disbursement, and impact assessment.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, time-lines, and budgets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with grantees, community organisations, and other stakeholders throughout the project life-cycle.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of funded projects, ensuring alignment with foundation goals.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for the foundation’s board and stakeholders, highlighting project outcomes and lessons learned.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to grant making and project management.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions for grantees to enhance their capacity and project execution.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in end-to-end project management or PMO experience,
  • Ideally comes with experience of commercial project management
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Passion for philanthropy and a commitment to social impact.
