Oversee finance operations for Hong Kong and Singapore, covering closing, audits, and tax compliance. Manage outsourced providers, support business decisions with financial insights, and drive NetSuite optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and year-end closing for Hong Kong and Singapore entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage financial audits, statutory filings, and tax compliance in coordination with external auditors and advisors.
• Lead and review work from outsourced accounting service providers, ensuring quality deliverables and compliance with internal controls.
• Act as a key business partner supporting operations, providing insightful financial analysis and guidance to support commercial decisions.
• Supervise ongoing optimization of NetSuite, driving continuous improvement and efficiency.
• Collaborate with finance peers in the UK, US, and Japan to align reporting, best practices, and internal policies.
• Provide cross-checks on financial data and ensure books are properly closed with strong analytical review and reconciliations.
• Support process improvement and enhance the overall control environment for regional finance operations.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA qualification is a must.
• Minimum 8 years of experience, including Big 4 background plus commercial experience within a law firm or other professional services firm.
• Strong technical knowledge in accounting, audit, and taxation.
• Practical experience in regional accounting and consolidation.
• Hands-on and proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Experience with NetSuite or ERP implementation is a definite advantage.
• Excellent communication and liaison skills to manage outsourced parties and regional stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a multicultural environment.
