Financial Controller | HK + PRC Scope | 90k

The Financial Controller will oversee and manage all finance and accounting functions for Hong Kong and PRC operations, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards, accuracy in financial reporting, and strong control environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead finance and accounting operations covering Hong Kong and PRC, including month-end closing, consolidation, statutory reporting, and internal controls aligned with HKFRS/IFRS and PRC accounting standards.
• Manage relationships with banks for cash flow optimization, credit facilities, loan administration, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Deliver comprehensive financial analysis including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial performance reviews to guide business strategies.
• Drive continuous improvements in finance processes and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a finance team to maintain high performance, accountability, and compliance across both regions.
• Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to all statutory and tax regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; HKICPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant finance experience including at least 3-5 years in a Financial Controller role within multinational companies involving Hong Kong and PRC operations.
• Deep knowledge of HK and PRC accounting standards, tax regulation, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Proven track record in managing banking relationships and treasury functions effectively.
• Strong financial analysis skills with experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business partnering.
• Demonstrated leadership capability to manage and develop a diverse finance team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
