Head of Treasury | MNC | APAC scope

Our client is a market leader in their own sector and they are now looking for a seasoned treasury head to join their high performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement treasury strategies that optimize the company's financial resources, manage risks, and support company growth plans
• Manage all aspects of the company's cash management, including forecasting, liquidity management, and bank relationships
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks and other financial institutions to support financing activities
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to manage the company's foreign exchange and interest rate exposure
• Manage the company's investment portfolio and ensure compliance with investment policies and guidelines
• Provide leadership and guidance to the treasury team, including coaching and mentoring team members to support their professional development and ensure high levels of performance
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including the CFO, HQ corporate treasurer, and business unit leaders, to ensure alignment of treasury strategies with overall business objectives

Job requirements:

• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in the treasury role within a multinational environment
• Qualified Accountant, member of ACCA, HKICPA or equivalent
• With prior experience in managing treasury function covering multiple countries, with esp. good understanding about China market
• Experience with range of working capital instruments
• Good knowledge in handling / arranging banking products such as bonds, guarantees, FX contracts
• Proficient in both Enlish and Chinese is needed
