Reporting to Tax Director, the Tax Manager will be responsible for:
- Providing tax advice and tax effective solutions to business operations
- Ensuring compliance with local tax regimes and with the Group’s code of conduct
- Providing tax inputs to various global restructuring, merger and acquisition projects
- Identifying potential tax issues/problems and initiating corrective actions as required
- Managing and optimizing tax risks of the Group
- Managing relationships with tax authorities and handling tax disputes
The successful candidate should be a qualified accountant with the following attributes:
- Not less than 5 years’ solid experience in taxation, gained from one of the “Big 4” accounting firms
- Experience in tax issues and tax planning in Asia Pacific / Global context
- A sound financial analytical mind
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface with cross functional people in the Group
- A strong team spirit
