Assistant Internal Audit Manager (up to 50k)

A leading and sizeable company with global presence is locating for a self-independent, responsible and experienced talent to join their fast growing internal audit team.

Responsibilities:

-Conduct thorough planning, fieldwork, and reporting of assurance work, both as a team leader and a team member.
-Lead meetings, analyse data, review documents, and prepare comprehensive working papers.
-Develop and document findings and recommendations, addressing the needs of senior stakeholders across multiple departments and geographical areas.
-Coordinate and deploy internal audit resources to ensure audits are completed within budget and schedule.
-Provide high-quality audits by understanding the business, industry, and risks, and identifying issues accurately.
-Prepare timely reports with well-communicated issues, recommendations, and solutions for senior management and executives.
-Obtain relevant data and information, exercising professional judgement and scepticism.
-Manage ad hoc projects, including handling whistle-blowing investigations.
-Drive positive change within the Internal Audit function, suggesting and implementing improvements to working practices.
-Coach, train, supervise, and provide feedback to the internal audit team, fostering a culture of excellence.
-Work independently under general direction, exercising initiative, independent judgement, and proposing solutions to senior management.
-Maintain professional development through external and internal training and professional associations.
-Uphold professional and ethical standards in all aspects of work.

Requirements:

-Degree from a reputable institution and relevant professional qualifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, or equivalent designation.
-Minimum of 2 years' experience in internal and/or external audit, preferably in an internationally recognised accounting firm or corporation.
-Knowledge and experience of internal audit best practices is preferred.
-Experience leading small teams in delivering audit work is an advantage.
