Deputy Head of Risk Management

One of the giant and stable organizations is looking for a Deputy Head of Risk Management to join their high performing team.

Responsibilities

• Report into department head and be the key person to provide centralised overall coordination of the Group’s risk management processes
• Responsible for the Enterprise Risk Management framework of the whole Group, which includes formulating risk management strategies adhering to the latest regulatory requirement and company objectives, and innovating risk management techniques to improve existing procedure
• Liaise with different stakeholders of group business units, regardless of geographical location, on risk assessment, identification and mitigation
• Assure proper implementation of all risk management policies and guidelines
• Develop and prepare regular reports of significant risks and other documents to senior management and Board Audit & Risk Committee
• Provide advice to all group units on the company’s new initiatives and existing operations from a risk and control perspective

Requirements

• University degree preferably in risk management, finance, accounting or related discipline
• At least 8 years of risk management and relevant experience preferably gained from sizable corporations
• Knowledge of risk management frameworks and relevant local/ global regulatory requirements, strong in applying either ERM frameworks
• Candidates from risk consulting / advisory background are highly advantageous
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, problem solving and presentation skills
• Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is required
