Accountant | UK Listed Company

Our Client is a London listed company in consumer product industry. They are currently looking for an Accountant to join their sizable Finance department.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be maintaining full set of accounting books
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports, and assist in forecast and budget preparation
• Supervise Accounts Payable duties, e.g. preparation of cheques, T/T forms, etc. for bank payments, ensuring invoice settlements are supported by proper approvals, timely review of payment records
• Coordinate and verify group companies' payments and management reports
• Perform and document relevant internal controls over financial reporting to comply with SOX requirements
• Support annual and interim reporting process including the preparation of financial statement disclosure materials

Requirements:

• Degree holder in accounting or related disciplines
• 2 -4 years or above relevant working experience
• Student of HKICPA / ACCA or equivalent preferred
• Familiar with ERP will be a definite advantage
• Proficient in MS Office Application including MS Word and Excel;
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills and able to handle multi-tasks
• Good command in both English and Chinese
