Our Client is a British multi-national company in luxury retail industry with operations across the globe. They are looking for an Assistant Accountant in their Finance Department.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations related to accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), accounting journals, and support monthly closing
- Process third party and inter-company invoices according to accounting policies and procedures
- Process payments with sufficient supporting and proper approval
- Prepare entries for bank transactions and perform bank reconciliation
- Create monthly accounting schedules for management analysis and statutory purposes
- Handling ad hoc tasks assigned
Requirements:
- Higher diploma / degree or above in Finance & Accounting
- Minimum 3 years working experience in similar position
- Experience in handling accounting operations in China and/or other Asia regions
- Able to handle multiple tasks under a tight deadline with highly accuracy
- Good team player and able to work independently
- Good written and spoken English and Mandarin
- Strong computer skills is essential (MS Office/Excel)
- Hands-on experience in SAP is an advantage
