Assistant Finance Manager (up to 50k)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Finance Manager to join our client, a prestigious property company. As a member of finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, analysis, and accounting for our diverse real estate assets across multiple locations.

Responsibilities:

-Collaborate with the Finance Director to handle all financial reporting, analysis, and accounting requests pertaining to our real estate assets in various locations.
-Prepare the annual budget and rolling forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.
-Assist in the development and implementation of financial and accounting strategies to optimize business performance.
-Consolidate internal reports for management review, providing comprehensive and insightful analysis.
-Prepare periodic accounts, including income and expenditure statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
-Manage the annual audit process and provide support in all tax-related matters.
-Offer recommendations to optimize revenue, cost, and profit, contributing to overall business growth.
-Assist in the preparation of investment and new business model proposals, highlighting associated risks and opportunities.
-Develop in-depth business cases, supported by relevant information, to facilitate informed decision-making.
-Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all financial reports.
-Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Group Policies.
-Fulfill company secretarial duties, handling correspondence with internal departments and external parties when necessary.
-Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, lawyers, and valuers, fostering productive professional relationships.
-Participate in top management meetings, providing financial insights and contributing to strategic discussions.
-Undertake ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned by the Finance Director.
-Actively promote our corporate culture to service providers and business partners.
-Willingness to travel as required.

Requirements:

-Hold a degree in Accounting and Finance, supplemented by a relevant professional qualification (e.g., CPA, HKICPA, ACCA).
-Possess at least 3 years of experience in financial management and commercial roles, with a minimum of 1 years at a supervisory level within sizeable companies.
-Demonstrated expertise in handling full sets of accounts and preparing monthly financial statements.
-Strong skills in financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting standards.
-Familiarity with HK/PRC/Overseas accounting standards, tax rules, and related regulations is preferred.
-Proficient in financial modeling, with a keen analytical mind.
-Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of thriving in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
-Possess excellent commercial sense, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.
-Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
