Chief Accountant (start up, up to 65K)

A gaming related business, renowned in the industry is locating an all-rounded accounting expert to become their Chief acocuntant and to handle A&F function of the newly set up office in HK. Fantastic opportunity to grow together with the company with their expansion in China & APAC.

Responsibilities:

• Accounting, Tax & Financial Reporting
• Handle daily bookkeeping services to business unit in Hong Kong
• Prepare Hong Kong’s monthly financial and management accounts
• Prepare Group’s annual consolidated financial and management accounts
• Prepare annual budget and forecasting
• Calculation of intercompany fee and recharges to other offices or entities
• Handle annual external audit and tax reporting
• Maintain cash flows and handle funding between headquarters and Hong Kong office
• Maintain good relationship with auditors, advisors, bankers and group companies
• Handle any ad-hoc business duties or projects required by Director in Hong Kong
• Ensure business processes are complied with local corporate rules and regulations

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Accounting or Finance
• Professional qualification with ACCA, HKICPA or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in accounting and finance; combination of external audit experience in professional firm and commerical experience in technology corporation will be a strong plus
• Knowledge on Sage50 accounting system will be a strong plus
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Strong analytical skills
• Self-motivated, independent, proactive individual
• Good communication, interpersonal skill and a team player
• Good command of both spoken and written English
