Finance Director (Prefer Pharmaceutical Exp + frequent travel)

A leading biopharmaceutical related company is locating a new finance leader to develop and grow together in their fast growing business. Finding someone who has in dept finance experience in both operational and corporate level. Someone with good business development modellings skillset, entrepreneurial minded and corporate buget and planning exposure will definitely be a plus.

Reporting to the CFO, the incumbent would act as a strategic business partner to the CFO and business leaders to facilitate business decisions and optimize allocation of funding and resources amongst business initiatives.

The role:

Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities;
Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions;
Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
Provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team
Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets,
Advise on long-term business and financial planning
Support and lead strategic initiatives
Manage all aspects of a Listed Co Financial and Regulatory reporting requirements
Working across business Functions to ensure effective and efficient
Establishing and developing relations with investors, external partners and stakeholders

The person:

Big 4 audit experience and 10+ years relevant experience in sizable corporate or conglomerate;

Familiar with either pharmaceutical/manufacturing businesses, ideally with both operational and corporate level experience;
Familiar with the listing rules in Hong Kong;
Strong business acumen and strong business partnering experience;
Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and corporate & strategic planning concept;
Work independently with strong analytical mind for planning and execution;
Exceptional leadership, interpersonal and communication skills;

Willing to travel frequently
