Robert Walters announces today the opening of its first office in the San Francisco Bay Area, further strengthening its position as one of the leading global specialist professional recruitment firms.

The San Francisco office will initially specialize in permanent recruitment for mid to senior-level sales, marketing and product management professionals within the technology sector across the Bay Area. As well as actively recruiting talent for local businesses, Robert Walters San Francisco plans to fully leverage the Robert Walters Group’s international network of specialist professionals to contribute to business growth in both the Bay Area and abroad.

The Robert Walters San Francisco office is situated in a prime location – 4 Embarcadero Center, Suite 1400 – on the waterfront in the city’s financial district.

Simon Bromwell, originally from near Liverpool in the UK, joined Robert Walters in 2003 and spent nine years working in the Group’s Tokyo office. There he was instrumental in the office’s success and led ten industry specialist teams with a headcount of over 50. Simon is fluent in Japanese and has served as a Coordinator of International Relations for a local government body in Southern Japan.
