TECHNICAL CONSULTANT - NETWORK
This organisation is a market leader in the provision of managed networked IT services. They are currently looking for an experienced Technical Consultant to propose suitable solutions to meet client’s needs and to provide client focused consultancy services, pre-sales evaluation and probe placement design, technical order validation and implementation, and post implementation analysis.
Responsibilities:
• assist sales to identify, qualify and close business
• participate in customer service review meetings to demonstrate value and drive greater understanding of customer network environment and strategies
• participate in customer business plan review meetings to drive greater deployment of company’s managed services portfolio
• conduct application discovery / identification / classification and audit exercises
• provide capacity analysis on Network / Application trends
• propose solutions to meet the current and future needs of the customer
Requirements:
• proven track record in support activities, or supporting sales;
• sales or technical accreditation’s from suppliers such as Cisco, Microsoft, Compuware, Ipanema, Opnet, BlueCoat and Riverbed or vendors from the same markets
• understand the trends and requirements of the APM and WAN optimisation markets
• minimum five years of working experience with Multinational and complex organisational environments
• minimum five years of experience in sales or sales support roles, proven track record
• English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) speaking mandatory
