BUSINESS ANALYST (HONG KONG)
This top tier financial organisation is looking for skilled Business Analysts for their largest global technology project at the moment. This is a newly developed role that has arisen due to a need to improve systems at the firm to keep up with the growth of the business.
Responsibilities:
•work with users to gain an understanding and an appreciation of current business flows; fully evaluate desired improvements to this process; discuss impact of changes with all affected development groups
•proactively suggest improvements to the process and be willing to discuss these with the development groups in HK, London, Tokyo, Taiwan, Korea and India
•document the requirements using the business standards and ensure it shows the end-to-end business flow and system, identify necessary system changes required
•assist in defining the Test Approach for the system changes to be implemented and assist the QA group in queries during the test analysis and test execution phase
•coordinate and facilitate user acceptance tests
•arrange / chair meetings to discuss and clarify requirements
Requirements:
•a minimum five years’ experience in the financial industry working on equity derivative related systems
•a sound knowledge on the various business processes and flows in equities derivative business
•strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to communicate both technical and business issues clearly, succinctly and in a timely manner
•ability to balance technical and business issues as well as communicate appropriately with both technical and business experts
•ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with developent groups and business users / sponsors
•strong technical background is a plus
