MANAGER, FINANCIAL BUDGETING AND ANALYSIS
This Chinese bank has been expanding significantly in the past few years and has recently set up their offices in Hong Kong. According to the July 2010 issue of The Banker, they are the 80th largest bank in the world in terms of Tier 1 capital. The bank is looking for an accountant to join their finance team.
Main Responsibilities:
* prepare annual budget and perform regular reviews
* provide financial management information
* conduct comprehensive business analysis and budgetary control on performance of business units and products
* assist in preparation of accounting policies and manuals
* participate in ad-hoc analysis and projects
Requirements:
* university degree in accounting or finance
* minimum four years' relevant experience gained form the banking industry, with good knowledge in financial planning and analysis
* good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
* proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
* candidates with less experience can be considered as Assistant Manager or Senior Officer
