ACCOUNTANT
Leading household products manufacturer is now looking for an Accountant to join their company.
Responsibilities:
• 80% on variance analysis and 20% on month-end closing/reporting
• prepare variance report and industrial scoreboard
• provide comment on PPV & other variances (toolings, RnD and purchasing department expenses) along with monthly forecast and budget
• handle inter-company purchase volume & price variance in forecast and budget
• cost analysis
• run month end variance treatments program and reconcile results with accounting ledger
• prepare and perform monthly analytical review on variance report to explain the business performance (price variance, department expenses, mold & tooling)
• prepare annual budget and quarterly forecast (from data collection from various departments to final submission to the Group via the reporting system)
• prepare month end investment report, budget & forecast control on investment
• improve the quality and accuracy of data in reporting system and variance reports
• occasional travel may be required
Requirements:
• university graduated or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or other related discipline
• ACCA qualified preferred but not a must
• minimum of three to four years’ experience in variances and financial analysis in manufacturing industry is a must
• experience in investment control (mold & tooling) and costing analysis are definite assets
• able to work independently with strong analytical and quantitative skills and problem solving skills
• sound PC knowledge, especially Excel, is a must, and knowledge in SAP is an asset
• fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese is a must
