This company aims to have the most admired business continuity capability in its market sector. To this end an enhanced program has recently been implemented in the Asia Pacific offices.
Responsibilities:
• ensure that the Asia Pac businesses have effective, up to date BCP capabilities & plans.
• work with business continuity coordinators through the Alliance Bernstein BC life-cycle to ensure their area’s have effective plans and that staff are aware of the plan.
• support the maintenance and testing of Alliance Bernstein’s crisis management plan.
• coordinate with IT to ensure that IT develop, maintain and test their Disaster Recovery capability in line with business requirements.
• coordinate and execute table-top simulations, business resumption, IT disconnection, call tree tests and report findings, ensuring failings are properly reported, tracked and resolved efficiently and effectively.
• manage the recovery site in terms of the relationship with the supplier and ensuring that it meets specific business requirements.
Skills / Experience required:
• five or more year’s experience working with Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Crisis Management in a major organization.
• seven plus years in the business world, preferably investment management or banking environment.
• excellent project management skills, information technology skills and applied experience.
• candidate must have the ability to embrace the existing BCP customized framework and work within an established global program.
• ability to work effectively with BC Managers in other regions and Global Head
