World leading fashion brand seeks highly skilled Finance Manager with in-depth knowledge of the accounting needs of fashion wholesale and retail to take ownership of the day to day running of the Finance division during a maternity leave period.
Responsibilities:
• managing the Credit Collection & Retail Control team
• responsible for Credit management for all wholesales customers, handle queries/request received on such area and action on.
• ensure all outstanding customer receipts on timely basis and appropriate actions taken for all aged receivables are observed by the team.
• responsible for financial closing for Retail & Wholesales top line, ensure compliance with IFRS and sales are recognised properly in accordance with IFRS.
• responsible for managing the team’s performance in monitoring compliance on the retail operations for the region in accordance with global procedures, policies & controls.
• responsible for inventory ledgers reconciliation and month-end closing, and stock provisions calculation & recording.
Requirements:
• qualified Accountant with Accountancy related disciplines; Big 4 trained with experience in handling FMCG clients is a definite advantage.
• knowledge on SAP is essential
• minimum seven years’ experience, practical experience in retail industry will be a definite advantage.
• good command of both spoken and written English, Chinese & Mandarin;
• computer literate with excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office applications.
