The communication manager will report to the marketing and communications direct, Asia and work closely with the Director in enhancing the profile, reputation and brand of this prestigious and leading firm.
Responsibilities:
External communications
Media relations
proactive and reactive media handling
drafting media materials including, announcements, briefings and releases
Marketing communications
communications materials
drafting, managing and producing printed materials and advertising
advising partners and lawyers on appropriate materials and correct branding
Directory and awards submissions
coordinating the firm's Asian response to major legal directories and awards
collating and disseminating the firm's record in these directories and awards
Events and conferences
designing, managing and delivering firm-wide client events
designing, managing and delivering firm-wide internal communications events
Internal communications
managing and producing the daily Asian market update and intranet news homepage
developing new online communications channels for tailored marketing
Requirements:
tertiary qualified, at least six to eight years' experience in professional services marketing, public relations or corporate communications.
excellent English drafting, writing and editing skills - as near to journalistic standards as possible.
comfortable with technology, particularly online environments.
understanding of print and graphic production processes.
skilled in event concepts, organisation and management.
commercially aware, sensitive to the concerns and needs of internal and external clients.
