One of the world’s most recognised e-Commerce brands is seeking an experienced Financial Accounting Analyst to join their dynamic and rapidly growing organisation on an initial 12 months contract basis to perform the following role.
Responsibilities:
• manage internal and external statutory reporting obligations for the PayPal Australia
• take responsibility for all month end accounting processes to meet internal reporting requirements
• manage accounts payable
• manage FP&A function – drive all forecasting cycles
Qualifications and Experience:
• Accounting degree and CA/CPA certified
• minimum of three to five years’ experience post-qualified working in accounting teams in Commerce and/or working in Accounting firm
• experience working in a broad Accounting role in a global company
• knowledge of Australian GAAP (with knowledge of US GAAP an advantage)
• excellent Excel skills
• strong communication skills, ability to show initiative and ability to work as an effective team member
