This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast moving and dynamic business US organisation in the media and entertainment industry. Continuous growth plan across the Asia Pacific region has created the need for high calibre finance professional to head up its regional finance team.
Reporting to the VP of Asia (based in Hong Kong), this is an autonomous role in leading up the overall finance function whilst serving both as a key financial advisor and strategic business partner to the AP Leadership Team and Corporate US Finance Team along with other key business stakeholders within the company’s Asia business units.
Responsibilities:
• direct and control all aspects of financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, and administration across Asia
• provide consulting advice to regional business in Asia from strategic business perspectives
• conduct strategic and financial analysis on company’s business partnerships proposal and other development activities
• conduct financial analyses during quarterly forecasts, the budget and month end close
• play an instrumental role in driving company’s business development activities including “go-to-market” strategies, partnership discussion, and other media/PR/marketing related activities
Requirements:
• more than eight years’ professional experience in a accounting, finance or related business role within the professional sports, entertainment, media or service industry
• experience working for a multi-national company with operations in Asia and involvement in all aspects of corporate strategic planning and business development
• a university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related business field
• professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, etc) with more than six years’ post qualified experience
• advanced degree / MBA preferred but not a must
