A leading financial institution is looking for an HR Generalist to act as an internal consultant on a broad range of people issues to an allocated client group, for which they will have a clear understanding of the business objectives and strategies. The successful candidate will also heavily involved he Country Graduate Program, this includes Management Associate recruitment, training and career development.

Responsibilities:

• work proactively with assigned business units in recruitment, training, people development, performance management, retention, succession planning, employee satisfaction, and recognition programs to ensure the success of business initiatives, this will include placing advertisement, conducting job posting by collaboration with line managers on job description requirement, scheduling, and interview candidates and liaise with respective managers
• act as a major team members in the Country Graduate program, this includes Management Associate recruitment, training and career development
• work with HR team members and manager during comp cycle
• as an effective business partner, work closely with the managers to understand, anticipate and provide solutions through a motivated and engaged work force
• coordinate employee satisfaction surveys, action plans, employee communication, and other related HR projects with businesses
• ensure the compliance of all HR processes to both internal policies and government regulations
• work with the HR Generalist team on other ad hoc projects

Key Competencies/ Skills:

• a degree or equivalent level qualification
• demonstrated working knowledge of the full range of human resources functions, including training/ development, recruiting, compensation and benefits, information systems and with strong emphasis on employee relations
• work with managers to maintain an effective development and staffing strategy that meets the needs of the business
• excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, spoken Cantonese an advantage
• self-driven and results-oriented with strong adaptability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
• a positive and flexible team-player and act with integrity
• mature and experienced in dealing with complex situations and multiple tasks with high sense of confidentiality
