A fast developing listed energy and resources company that operates out of North and Central Asia is looking to appoint an exceptional Financial Director who has had previous experience in the Mining industry to provide financial leadership and compliance to IFRS standards. You will be responsible for working within a wider executive team and at the same time ensuring that the groups reporting requirements are met on all fronts.
Main Responsibilities:
oversee and manage all financial operations of the company
lead the implementation of a new financial system
develop and implement financial policies and procedures
ensure that the company maximises its profits through strategic tax planning and compliance with the local legal requirements
ensure that the company operates financial accounting practises that are in line with international standards, as specified by IFRS
ensure country compliance with the all the companies policies and procedures
financial planning and budget reports and compliances within the group standards
ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
ensure that all employees performance management objectives and key result areas are being managed
communicate and work effectively with all stakeholders and other departments within the company and the holding company
Main Requirements:
strong background in Mining / Project Management / Construction / Engineering industries
extensive knowledge of business data processing, budgeting principles related to major works / capital works, and financial controls across the various departments
worked in a similar scale enterprise environments across multiple disciplines
excellent communications skills and highly motivated and enthusiastic
